We are pleased to announce that a new build has been applied for CRM2Word. This build includes support for foreign character sets and includes a few minor enhancements to the GUI.
Existing customers can simply go to their Windows Control Panel and click on the existing CRM2Word installed application within the Installed Applications list and click the update link.
Anyone wishing to try it out can click here to download a free version (no time limit!) but does have restrictions on the number of contacts you can merge at any one time.

Well, it's been just over one week since we put CRM2Word 2007 for SugarCRM onto http://www.sugarexchange.com and there have already been over 115 downloads!!
You can view the listing here
We're receiving some positive feedback too and I thought I'd share some of the comments with you:
"Awesome, awesome, awesome"
"Great product - I wish I had come across it two months ago"
"Your software was a breath of fresh air"
And to clarify some questions received...
Pricing for CRM2Outlook and CRM2Excel is not yet released. Nor is there a timescale. However CRM2Outlook LEADS is in BETA testing so the release is not too far out. You should see it on sugarforge sometime very soon.
A single user license of CRM2Word 2007 is $49.00 annually. CRM2Word is one product but CRM2Office is planning the release of several products in the 'family' of CRM2Office productivity plug-ins in the coming months. There will be a separate price for each plug-in.
- CRM2Outlook will take on two forms:
- CRM2Outlook LEADS - typically installed onto one PC in an organization and sits there processing inbound emails
- CRM2Outlook PRO - typically installed onto everyone's PC and syncs calendar and contacts and archives email (in a very neat way I might add!)
- CRM2Excel is still in planning stage and will be launched towards the end of 2010.
There will also be:
- CRM2Word for Word 2003 launched soon
- CRM2Word will be enhanced with additional capabilities including support for Target List merging and also write back a 'History' item for merged records.

Just wanted to keep everyone up to date with the latest developments.
We have released a patch for CRM2Word which has support for larger data sets and is compatible with all 5.x versions.
If you want to upgrade simply redownload the setup files that were emailed to you and run the installation. No need to uninstall the previous version as the installation process takes care of that for you.
In the near future we will be adding support for Target List merging as well as writing back to Sugar with a history record linked to Contacts/Leads (showing date, time of merge and what file was physically sent/merged)
Regards

Features:
- Merge data from Accounts/Contacts and Leads, Custom fields and Users
- Search across multiple tables (i.e. Find all accounts in an industry sector and select only CEOs)
- Search in custom fields
- Search by date and time
- Save searches
These are just a few of the features currently available.
In the near future additional tables will be supported including, Opportunities, Cases, Projects and Custom Modules.

I thought I'd write a quick blog on our progress with the plugins. We have had a lot of people ask us when these will be available so here's an update :)
The CRM2Word plugin for all editions of SugarCRM will be available for download on Monday 18th January 2010 and quickly after this the same plugin for info@hand CRBM will be released.
The Outlook and Excel plugins are still in an early state of development and we should see releases of these plugins at the end of the first quarter.
If you have any requests or ideas that you would like to see in any of our plugins please use the forum to register your ideas.
We look forward to a productive 2010. Happy New Year everybody. Everyone at CRM2Office wishes you a bright and prosperous 2010.
